Clear hourly rate — same in the shop or on site. No surprise packages — you pay for the time it takes.
Same rate whether you bring it in or we come to you. Most jobs take less than an hour.
Tower PCs, laptops, tablets, and cellphones are the most common — but we see odd things from time to time too.
What we handle
- Virus and malware removal
- Slow-computer cleanup — junk and unnecessary programs
- Data restore and lost-file recovery guidance
- SSD upgrades (HDD → SSD for a “like new” feel)
- RAM upgrades (often 4GB → 8GB or 16GB)
- Power ports, batteries, screens, and circuit boards
- Phones and tablets as well as PCs and laptops
When it’s time to upgrade
We will let you know if your device is worth the effort and expense of an upgrade before we do any work. The most common upgrades we see are from old-fashioned hard drives (HDD) to solid state drives (SSD). This makes a huge difference in performance — more than a few people have told us it’s like a brand new computer. Another common upgrade is RAM. Older computers with only 4GB of RAM struggle with newer operating systems.
There are situations where the hardware is too old to support newer operating systems like Windows 11. If your OS is no longer receiving updates and the hardware will not allow an upgrade, it’s time for a new system — and we can help you choose one.
